Shepherds Market features hand-spun and mill-spun yarns, from our own backyards. Yarns from sheep, alpaca, llama, angora, goat, and what ever else we can find to spin. If it's not yarn that trips your trigger then how about some raw fiber, batts, clouds or spinning wheels, looms and anything else that fiber enthusiasts like. In any-case we are sure that you will have an enjoyable day no matter what.
Be sure to bring something to work on and stay for the day.
The Mission of the Shepherds Market Fiber Festival is to keep the fiber arts alive and well in Iowa. Local fiber producers, craftsmen and artists are brought together to display and sell their wares, demonstrating their skills and educating the visiting public about natural fibers and their importance to our community and culture.
We will be posting our vendors and workshops on the vendor page as they come in. So check back often.
